Job Description- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and families about health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self‑care strategies.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
- Document patient care activities, including assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes, accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high‑quality care.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to infection control policies and safety protocols.
- Respond promptly to life‑threatening situations using established protocols and critical care skills.
- Associate's of Nursing (Required)
- Bachelor's of Nursing
- Acute/Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist (CCNS) – EV Accredited
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) – RQI
- Basic EKG Certification (BEKG) – EV Accredited
- Basic Life Support – CPR Cert (BLS) – RQI
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) – EV Accredited
- Fundamentals of Critical Care Support (FCCS) – EV Accredited
- Instructor PALS (PALS‑INSTR) – Accredited
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – EV Accredited
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program – Advanced (NRP‑A) – Accredited
