• Provides leadership to facilitate the development of the hospital’s mission, vision, and values within the department.
• Manages day-to-day operations, including staffing and patient flow, under the direction of the Director.
• Manages assigned direct reports including recruitment, hiring, coaching, disciplinary actions, development, education, competencies, payroll functions, documentation and performance evaluations.
• Assists at the bedside as needed while maintaining clinical competencies.
• Promotes a positive patient experience using best practices as outlined by the Chief Nursing Officer. Plans, designs, directs, integrates, and coordinates nursing care for specific age groups according to service standards.

• Bachelor's of Nursing (Required)
• Master's of Nursing
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) – RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
• Basic Life Support – CPR Cert (BLS) – RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
• Certified Nurse Manager and Leader (CNML) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
• Registered Nurse (RN) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
