Multi-skilled Craftsman – Ace Handyman Services - De Land

Ace Handyman Services is one of DeLand's top-rated handyman, repair, and remodeling companies. Since 2025, we have provided homes and businesses throughout DeLand with quality craftsmanship for repair, maintenance, and remodeling projects – both large and small – inside and outside. We are currently seeking highly motivated professional Craftsman with skills in multiple trades.

If you are looking for a W2 position that allows you the flexibility of an independent job, we will schedule the jobs for you and you provide the quality craftsmanship and customer service our clients expect. You will work out of your home on your choice of a full-time or part-time basis, using your own truck or van to travel to job sites throughout DeLand and the surrounding Volusia County areas.

• Perform multiple trades including carpentry, tiling, painting, drywalling, and light electrical and plumbing as needed.
• Provide quality craftsmanship and positive customer service to clients and cooperation with management and office staff.
• Travel to job sites throughout DeLand and surrounding areas using personal vehicle.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor; document and communicate project status effectively.

• Successful prior track record as a Carpenter/Craftsman; estimation skills and prior home inspection experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing tasks.
• Own standard set of tools to perform all listed trades.
• Own truck or van and a current, valid driver’s license; active auto insurance.
• Residence within 15 miles of DeLand.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills; strong documentation and invoicing skills.

Compensation: $46,000 per year. This role supports a team of 800+ Craftsmen who represent the Brand and provide turnkey, white-glove home repair, maintenance, and improvement services. Projects are often for Repeat and Referral Customers.
