About the RoleThe Front Desk Clerk plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for customers. This position manages front desk operations and ensures that all guests receive exceptional service, including assistance with pass sales and program registration. The Front Desk Clerk addresses inquiries, resolves issues, answers phone calls, and provides information about the facility and its services. In addition, the role involves maintaining accurate records and managing retail sales, contributing significantly to overall guest experience and satisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality roles.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
- Associate's degree in hospitality management or related field.
- Experience with multi‑line phone systems and front desk operations.
- Bilingual abilities to assist a diverse clientele.
- Greet and welcome customers upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage pass sales and program registration processes efficiently, including handling payments and selling retail.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding pool information, fees, and registration.
- Maintain accurate records of cash handling.
- Assist in resolving customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
The skills required for this position include strong communication and interpersonal abilities, organizational skills, problem‑solving skills, and familiarity with hospitality software. Bilingual proficiency can enhance guest interactions.
