• Read and write English, interact with the general public and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers and employees.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.

• Basic PC/Outlook skills
• Retail Management Certificate

The Part‑time Retail Associate performs management‑assigned duties, including stocking, maintaining store sections, carry‑out services, and store cleaning.

• Maintain assigned store sections and stock merchandise using proper equipment.
• Ensure proper pricing, check product date codes, and keep shelves, end displays, floor stacks, and refrigerated/frozen cases stocked.
• Prepare perishable products for sale as needed.
• Set up advertising/promotional displays.
• Clean and maintain sanitation standards in all interior and exterior areas of the store and parking lot as directed.
• Offer friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous assistance to customers by providing current store and product information.
• When requested, load customer purchases by assisting customers to their vehicles.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties, including recording lost/damaged goods and store supplies using appropriate tools.
