Starting pay range:
Minimum $20.00 - $25.00/hour.
Full‑time status | 4 Days on 4 Days Off. Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- One opening on each shift
Schedule:
4 days per week and benefits eligible. Additional overtime may be available.

The Material Technician facilitates the movement and inventory control of material flow, achieving efficient and safe handling of raw materials while contributing positively to the work environment.
Job Duties & Essential Functions- Manage the resin delivery system including vacuums, blenders, grinders, and bulk storage efficiently.
- Execute daily PM activities to assure seamless function of equipment.
- Receive, organize, and maintain accurate records of resin, cold melt, and regrind inventory.
- Support operations with back‑room changeover duties (color changes, bin maintenance, hopper cleaning, etc.).
- Coordinate with shift supervisor for timely stock replenishment and resin material removal during changeovers.
- Perform shredding processes, operating and maintaining shredder machines.
- Conduct daily audits of backrooms and mezzanine to maintain 6S cleanliness.
- Report machine issues to maintenance in a detailed and professional manner.
- Communicate resin inventory, dunnage, scrap, 6S, and process deviations in the Red Zone system.
- Conduct quality verification checks by changing railcar compartments to ensure accurate resin flow to molding equipment.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to load, unload, and label resin material.
- Maintain railcar area year round.
- Engage in cross‑shift information hand‑offs to ensure process consistency.
- Follow all safety procedures and policies to maintain clean equipment and work areas.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts, sustain 6S program, and report variations to leadership.
- Support production floor needs as required.
- Comply with GMP, Food Safety, and Food Quality regulations.
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required; advanced technical certificate or formal education preferred.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Experience with material handling equipment preferred.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and comfort operating machinery/equipment.
- Capable of working independently and productively with little supervision.
- Forklift operation experience preferred.
- Familiarity with RF handheld computers.
- Excellent decision‑making skills.
- Familiarity with basic computer functions and Microsoft Office.
- Experience using Apple iPad devices preferred.
- Basic math and measurement capabilities.
- Ability to follow guidelines independently and work as part of a cohesive production team.
- Must read and write in English to identify packing information, follow instructions, and QA alerts.
