Description
Kunes Auto & RV Group is looking for a Regional Performance Marketing Manager to own the day-to-day performance of digital and retail marketing across a portfolio of dealership locations.
This is not a brand-marketing or primarily creative role. We are looking for someone who understands paid digital media, lead generation, marketing analytics, local retail execution and ROI - and who is comfortable digging into the numbers to determine what is working, what isn't, and what needs to change.
You'll partner directly with dealership General Managers, sales and service leaders, our corporate marketing team, agencies and vendors to turn regional marketing strategy into measurable store-level results.
Automotive, RV, powersports or other multi-location retail marketing experience is strongly preferred.
What You'll Own Digital Marketing Performance- Monitor performance across paid search, paid social, display, retargeting, geo-targeted and local digital campaigns.
- Evaluate campaign effectiveness and identify opportunities to adjust spend, targeting, messaging or channel mix.
- Work with our centralized marketing and media teams to recommend optimizations and incremental investments.
- Track and report KPIs including:
- VDP views
- Website traffic
- Lead volume
- Cost per lead
- Conversion rates
- Closing ratios
- Marketing spend
- Cost per sale
- ROI
- Translate marketing data into clear recommendations for regional and dealership leadership.
- Identify underperforming campaigns and develop corrective action plans.
- Monitor marketing budgets across assigned dealership locations.
- Track spend against regional and store-level budgets.
- Identify pacing issues, unused budget and opportunities to reallocate spend toward higher-performing channels.
- Partner directly with General Managers, sales leaders and fixed-operations leaders.
- Align marketing programs with:
- Inventory levels
- Sales objectives
- Service capacity
- Seasonal opportunities
- Local market conditions
- Provide regular marketing-performance reviews and recommendations to store leadership.
- Manage OEM marketing requirements and co-op compliance.
- Maintain accurate documentation supporting co-op reimbursement.
- Monitor deadlines and work with internal teams and partners to ensure campaigns remain compliant.
- Serve as a day-to-day contact for marketing agencies, technology partners and third-party vendors.
- Monitor vendor performance and hold partners accountable to agreed-upon KPIs, deliverables and timelines.
- Identify when vendor performance requires intervention or escalation.
- Monitor online reviews, CSI and customer sentiment across assigned locations.
- Use platforms such as Kenect and other reputation-management tools to identify trends.
- Recommend actions to improve ratings, review performance and customer sentiment.
- Monitor store-level social activity and posting frequency.
- Track compliance with company and FTC requirements.
- Identify stores needing additional support or corrective action.
- Coordinate regional and store-level execution within our structured campaign operating model.
- Manage multiple campaigns, locations and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ensure required approvals and campaign milestones are completed on time.
- 3+ years of experience in performance marketing, digital marketing, retail marketing or paid media
. - Experience managing or evaluating Google Ads, paid social, display or other digital advertising campaigns
. - Demonstrated experience analyzing marketing KPIs and making recommendations based on performance.
- Experience managing meaningful marketing budgets.
- Strong Excel, reporting and dashboard skills.
- Ability to work directly with operational leaders and explain marketing performance in practical business terms.
- Strong organizational and project-management skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple locations, campaigns, priorities and deadlines.
- Automotive dealership marketing experience.
- RV, powersports or other multi-location retail marketing experience.
- Experience supporting multiple stores, locations or geographic markets.
- Knowledge of automotive VDPs, lead funnels, DMS/CRM platforms and digital retail metrics
. - OEM co-op or manufacturer marketing-compliance experience.
- Fixed operations/service marketing experience.
- Experience managing agencies and digital marketing vendors.
