Job Title: AML Analyst (SAR Writing & Investigations Required)
Location: New Castle, DE (Hybrid)
Duration: 6-Months+ with possible extension
We're hiring an AML Analyst with hands‑on SAR writing and financial investigations experience
. This role is ideal for candidates who have independently reviewed alerts, conducted AML investigations, and drafted Suspicious Activity Reports in a regulated banking environment.
- Review and investigate customer transactions for potential suspicious activity
- Conduct AML investigations using internal bank systems, public records, and external databases
- Analyze transactional data and financial statements to identify unusual patterns
- Independently write and file Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Document findings, research, and conclusions in the case management system
- Follow up with internal and external points of contact to support investigations
- Recommend account retention or closure when required
- Partner with internal compliance teams, business units, and law enforcement as needed
- 1-5 years of AML/BSA investigations experience
- Strong SAR writing experience (required – resumes without SAR experience will not be considered)
- Experience reviewing customer transactions and alerts for suspicious activity
- Knowledge of BSA/AML regulations, including FinCEN SAR requirements and OFAC
- CAMS certification
- Experience working in banking or financial services environments
- Familiarity with SEC, FINRA, FRB, and USA PATRIOT Act requirements
