GROWMARK Accounting Intern LLC - Milford, DE

GROWMARK FS is headquartered in Milford, Delaware with branches in New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. GROWMARK FS has about 500 employees (including seasonal workers) and approximately 13,000 customers. The cooperative does business in seed, agronomy, energy, crop protection, precision agriculture, and custom application. GROWMARK FS is part of the GROWMARK System, an agricultural cooperative serving more than 400,000 customers across North America and Ontario, Canada.

• Serves as the Accounting intern under the direction of the Member Services, Business Region Manager, trains and assists with general Accounting functions.

• Hands on experience in accounting field.
• Visit FS locations and customers building professional relationships.
• Assist with account reconciliation and balancing, budget planning, audit preparation, and inventory counts.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports.

• Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

• Must be pursuing an accounting, finance, or related degree at a 4-year university with the status of at least a second semester junior or first semester senior in good academic standing attimethe internship begins.
• Demonstratesability to work independently.
• Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decisionmakingand skill development.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and have the ability to travel independently and overnight as needed.
• Ability and willingness toparticipatein required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures andadditionaltraining as it relates to the requirements of the position.
