Qualifications:

• State of Delaware certification requirements for Secondary School Counseling.
• Evidence of successful PRAXIS II scores or a valid out‑of‑state teaching license.
• Eligibility or possession of Secondary School Counseling certification is encouraged.

Out of State Candidates:

• Educators applying for a license in Delaware with less than 1 year of experience will be placed on an Initial License.
• Applicants with one completed year of experience, but less than 4 years, will receive an Initial License; the DOE may recognize standard certificates from other states.

Salary: In accordance with the State of Delaware and local salary schedules, based on experience and degree. Benefits package included.

• Official transcripts (if applicable), updated resume, and three letters of recommendation.
• All persons employed must submit a criminal background check and a tuberculosis test.
• Persons offered employment must provide proper identification, documentation of eligibility for employment in the USA, completion of I‑9 form, and paperwork for the Delaware Child Protection Registry.
