We're looking for a Textile Materials Engineer to ensure advanced materials meet the rigorous demands of human spaceflight. As part of ILC Dover, an Ingersoll Rand Business, you'll join the team behind the only proven and flown spacesuits for NASA. In this high‑stakes, hands‑on role you will develop and qualify advanced textile‑based materials that make human spaceflight possible. You will identify, test, and qualify technical fabrics and composite materials for spaceflight hardware, collaborate directly with textile manufacturers to ensure every material meets mission‑critical performance demands, and develop and maintain engineering documentation aligned with NASA’s strict standards.
Your on‑floor problem‑solving will directly shape the integrity of suits destined for orbit and beyond, while you manage configuration and change control through Master Control, ensuring precision at every stage.

- 4+ years of experience performing Technical Fabric or Textile Engineering tasks or similar experience with NASA M&P (materials & processes).
- Must work effectively cross‑functionally with peers and departmental teams to deliver on time for internal and external customers, perform under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
