The primary responsibility of this position is to support the Procurement Department with administrative tasks and data entry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Supports Allen Harim’s mission, vision and values and ensure purchasing activities adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Run daily reports of maintenance parts issued to monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs by accessing stock levels.
- Collaborate with maintenance and other departments to identify purchasing requirements and expedite the ordering of necessary components.
- Obtain quotes from established vendors and identify potential savings from other sources.
- Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers.
- Enter requisitions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor the status of open orders, follow up on delayed shipments, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Expedite emergency requirements.
- Handle discrepancies that may arise with deliveries or pricing.
- Create reports from SAP as requested by Procurement Management.
- Other duties that may be assigned.

- High School diploma or Equivalent required.
- SAP experience preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in parts coordination of supply chain management.
- Basic understanding of supply chain principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- General knowledge and usage of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
The employee is frequently required to sit. They must be able to put away office supplies which may require light lifting, bending, reaching. The job operates in a poultry plant environment. All safety regulations must be followed.
