Senior Accountant

Precise Resource, Inc. is a leading privately held Women's Business Enterprise specializing in Executive Search and head-hunting services for Fortune 500 clients across the United States.

One of our more prestigious clients has asked us for assistance in seeking a Senior Accountant to join their organization. Our client is a Mission-driven organization rooted in Christian values and believes in enriching lives through compassion, integrity, and excellence. Rooted in faith and guided by serving others, their senior communities offer skilled nursing, assisted living, memory care, and independent living services.

We seek a Senior Accountant to play a critical supporting role in our client's financial operations. Reporting to the Controller and working closely with the CFO, this individual will manage day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, mission-driven professional with strong nonprofit or healthcare finance experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger processes
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and internal reports
  • Assist with the preparation of operating and capital budgets across multiple departments and facilities
  • Support the Controller in managing audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance
  • Maintain internal controls and ensure accounting policies and procedures are followed
  • Reconcile key accounts and assist with month-end and year-end closings
  • Work with department heads to ensure financial transparency and budget adherence
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support operational decision-making

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred)
  • 3+ years of accounting/finance experience
  • Experience in nonprofit, senior living, or healthcare environments strongly preferred
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Sage Intacct, Quick Books, or similar)
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to the mission and values
