Student Worker – Regi Star Student Guides

Number of positions available: 3

As a Regi Star Student Guide, your primary purpose is to be a peer resource for fellow students, helping them navigate and understand the administrative side of college. While your priority is on providing guidance and assistance to your peers, you’ll also support the Registrar’s Office with key administrative duties and providing assistance to alums, faculty, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities
  • Empower Peers:
    Serve as a frontline guide, helping your fellow students understand and resolve common issues related to registration, academic records, and graduation.
  • Provide Expert Guidance:
    Use your knowledge and training to direct students and other campus community members to the best resources for their needs.
  • Contribute to a Seamless

    Experience:

    Assist with essential office tasks, such as reviewing documents and processing student requests, to ensure all administrative processes run smoothly for students.
  • Engage in Meaningful Projects:
    Work on special projects that directly improve the student experience, such as updating student‑facing guides or conducting research on student needs.
Qualifications/Skills
  • Empathy and Support: A strong desire to help your fellow students and an ability to understand their challenges.
  • Clear Communication:
    The ability to explain complex policies and procedures in a simple, straightforward, and friendly way.

    A curious and proactive approach to tackling new challenges and finding solutions to help others.
