American Primary Healthcare, LLC provides person-centered support to individuals with developmental disabilities across Ohio. Our goal is to help every individual live with independence, dignity, safety, and inclusion.

We are seeking a dependable and compassionatefemale Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one support to amale client in the Sunbury, OH area.

This position offers approximately 31 hours per week and is ideal for someone looking for consistent part-time work while making a meaningful difference in a client's daily life.

• Provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities
• Support personal care, hygiene, meals, and daily routines as needed
• Assist with community activities and recreational opportunities
• Encourage independence, choice, and self-advocacy
• Provide medication reminders as directed
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment
• Accurately document services provided
• Communicate any concerns or changes to the appropriate care team members

• High school diploma or GED
• Medication Certification
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable, patient, and compassionate
• Comfortable providing one-on-one support

• Previous DSP, caregiving, or healthcare experience
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities

• $17.00-$18.00 per hour
