Quality Assurance Lead

This job can be performed from anywhere in the US.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA activities for the Veeva Vault Platform
  , including planning, execution, and reporting of testing efforts.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance manual and automated test scripts leveraging QTest
  , Tosca
  , and other test automation tools.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure complete test coverage.
• Coordinate test planning, defect tracking, and issue resolution using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Drive test automation strategy
  , improving efficiency, coverage, and reusability of test assets.
• Ensure compliance with regulated environment standards and maintain validation documentation as required.
• Mentor and guide QA team members on best practices, tools, and processes.
• Participate in SDLC processes
  , including requirement reviews, design discussions, and release planning.

Required Education

Bachelor's Degree

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 7-9+ years of experience in QA or test leadership roles.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Veeva Vault Platform and its modules.
• Proficiency in test automation tools like Tosca
  , QTest
  , and familiarity with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence).
• Solid understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, test planning, and execution
  .
• Experience in manual and automated testing
  , including writing test scripts, scenarios, and regression suites.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a cross‑functional team.
• Experience in regulated environments (GxP, FDA, or Life Sciences) is preferred.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Experience in QA leadership or mentoring teams.
• Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes and tools.
• Familiarity with other automation frameworks or scripting languages (Python, Java, etc.).

Experience working in Life Sciences or pharmaceutical domain is a plus.
