Specialty Coating and Laminating, LLC manufactures poly‑extrusion and aqueous‑coated paper and paperboard products, to include roll wrap protection, heat sealable liners, slip and tier sheets, and composite can components.
WHAT WE DO: Extrusion Coating Aqueous Coating Solid Fiber Laminations Building and Construction Materials: house wrap, roof underlayment, sheathing, flashing, and adhesives.
COVERAGE LOCATION Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire & Maine.
JOB SUMMARY We are seeking to add an experienced Sales Account Manager who will be responsible for seeking new business opportunities that result in increased outside sales revenue. This individual will articulate the value of our extruded and laminated products in a solution‑based manner, becoming a trusted partner of the customer throughout the full sales cycle. The position involves high‑volume cold calls, effective communication with prospective clients, building a pipeline, and successful client management.
ResponsibilityAreas
Prospecting
- Prospect and convert qualified leads from INDEVCO North American Marketing Team.
- Input activities, leads, contacts, and opportunities into the CRM system.
- Forecast, report, and profile competitors.
- Proactively search, identify and obtain business opportunities with new and existing customers, managing resources as required.
- Cold‑call potential customers for industrial and consumer packaging products.
- Visit B2B manufacturing operations to provide current product offering and value‑added solutions market‑specific.
Solution Development
- Work with R&D and Management teams to identify and design customer‑based solutions within our product portfolio.
- Utilize market and customer research to build product value propositions specific to the customer and industry.
- Share market knowledge and expertise of segments, geographic requirements, and product developments.
- Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors’ products, prices, and sales.
- Understand, assess, and communicate technical attributes required of the customer and the company’s ability to meet them.
Relationship Management
- Complete the sales cycle with full customer satisfaction.
- Address, monitor, and resolve complaints regarding product, quality, and service improvement.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve the customer experience.
- Follow‑up communication via telephone, written materials, and email; plan and prepare for outside sales calls using sales tools and databases; consistently use the CRM system to forecast bookings, prepare proposals, and provide tours.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- 5+ years sales experience, or 2+ years of specific sales experience in laminated and coated industrial/consumer packaging.
- Familiarity with folding carton, industrial packaging, steel and roll packaging for coated and laminated products.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- BS or BA in Business Administration, Sales, or Marketing.
OTHER DETAILS
- At least 70% travel required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
