WarehouseAssociate – Overview
Debrand is currently looking for team members for a full‑time position. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, processing materials based on customer needs, following quality guidelines for quality sortation projects, and working with heavy machinery such as balers and conveyors. Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Assist with unloading and receiving customer product.
- Open bales, crates and other containers.
- Process materials for recycling as per standard protocols, including removing irritants (hangtags, rubber bands, polybags, etc.) or quality inspecting for alternative solutions.
- Sort used apparel according to conditional grading criteria.
- Operate a forklift (preferred).
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; sweep, dust, and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
- Wear the proper safety equipment (steel‑toe shoes & high‑visibility vest).
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1‑2 years of previous warehouse experience preferred.
- A valid Driver’s License.
- Forklift experience is preferred.
- Good communication, organizational, time‑management & mathematical skills.
- Dependable and reliable.
- Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills may be required.
- Physical demands include handling objects weighing 10‑20 lbs regularly and occasionally lifting objects that weigh more than 100 lbs; regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and focus.

Salary

Starting at $19.45/hr.
Expected Hours
: 40 per week.

- 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
- Paid 15‑minute breaks at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm.
- Unpaid 30‑minute lunch break at 12:00 pm.
