Director of First Impressions
(Front Desk + Studio Assistant) Part-Time | Evenings & Saturdays | Hockessin, DE
Melodic Movements Performing Arts Program is a growing, purpose-driven dance studio dedicated to building confident, creative dancers through movement and mentorship. We believe in excellence, faith, creativity, and community - and we're looking for a warm, organized, and reliable person to be the welcoming face of our studio.

- Manage studio check-in, attendance, and assist with trial students
- Support new client onboarding and enrollment steps
- Draft weekly parent updates and studio communications
Maintain a tidy, organized front desk and lobby space - Assist with recital prep, costume organization, and merchandise sales
- Serve as the "eyes and ears" of the lobby - addressing minor issues gracefully
- Communicate dancer absences, trends, and concerns to leadership
- Handle closing duties, lost and found, and basic supply checks
- Friendly, outgoing, and love interacting with people
- Calm under pressure and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented with strong follow-through
- Comfortable working around children, families, music, and busy lobby energy
- A proactive communicator who takes initiative and solves problems with grace
- Weekday evenings (4:30 PM - 9:00 PM)
- Saturdays (9:00 AM - 2:00 PM)
- Additional hours may become available as the studio grows
- This role is best suited for individuals who are not actively enrolled in full-time academic programs, and who are seeking a stable, long-term position with room for growth

Pay:
Up to $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20-25 per week
