Sea Colony Recreational is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Seasonal, Full-time Beach Lifeguard. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service. Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays if necessary.

Key Responsibilities of the Beach Lifeguard:

• Supervises and observes swimmers at all times to ensure their safety.
• Administers first aid to minor injuries such as small cuts and bruises of swimmers.
• Enforces the rules of conduct.
• Checks the first aid supplies and reports needed items to management in a timely fashion.
• Maintains all necessary records determined by the department manager.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.

Minimum Qualifications for the Lifeguard:

• Must pass a Run and swim test.
• Must have Red Cross Lifeguarding before first day of work.
• Must pass EMR/First Responder certification (offered after hired).

Other

Qualifications:

Regular and reliable attendance.

Knowledge of accepted sanitation standards and applicable health codes.

Eligibility Requirements:

• H-2B visas are not eligible for this position. International J-1 applicants must be currently enrolled as students.
