Key Responsibilities of the Beach Lifeguard:

Supervise and observe swimmers at all times to ensure their safety.

Administer first aid to minor injuries such as small cuts and bruises of swimmers.

Enforce rules of conduct.

Check first aid supplies and report needed items to management promptly.

Maintain all necessary records as determined by the department manager.

Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.

Minimum Qualifications:

Pass a run and swim test.

Possess Red Cross Lifeguarding certification before first day of work.

Pass EMR/First Responder certification (offered after hiring).

Other

Qualifications:

Regular and reliable attendance.

Knowledge of accepted sanitation standards and applicable health codes.

Eligibility Requirements:

H-2B visas are not eligible for this position. International J-1 applicants must be currently enrolled as students.
