Job Description
The Hardware and Software System Level Integration and Validation Engineering team integrates and tests combined hardware silicon and software components of embedded communication SoC systems to ensure correct functionality and that they meet their requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Define validation criteria for system and component requirements and create test plans and strategies.
Integrate hardware and software components and develop and execute test cases, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
Create and maintain test automation frameworks and hardware lab test setups.
Work with development teams to identify and resolve hardware and software issues.
Collaborate closely with hardware, software, systems, algorithms, and application teams to ensure successful integration and validation.
Take an active role in the engineering product development teams from concept to final product release.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Several years of experience in hardware/software testing, integration, and validation (4–6 years for mid‑level, +10 years for senior/lead).
Strong understanding of embedded systems, including hardware and low‑level software.
Proficiency in C/C++ and scripting languages (e.g., Python) for test automation and data analysis.
Familiarity with wireless communication protocols (GNSS, BLE, LoRa) and conventional protocols (Ethernet, SPI, UART, I2C, LVDS).
Knowledge of RF component parameters (ADC, DAC, ADPLL, Filters, LNA).
Experience with hardware testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal analyzers.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
