Senior Alkaline Electrolyzer Stack Engineer

Alkaline Electrolyzer (AWE) Expert
We are looking for an alkaline electrolyzer (AWE) expert to join the core team and contribute to the design, development and implementation of the system, as we transition from cells to stacks and beyond.

Who You Are

A technical generalist who thrives in the prototype‑pilot‑scaleup phase.

Someone who can still think out of the box after seeing it all. You get excited by challenges and have a healthy obsession with technical systems.

You also want to solve big global problems, like climate change or energy security. You are driven by a mission to do something good for the world.

Requirements

Have seen and worked closely with AWEs (3+ years) in the industry (or in academia with an industry outlook), in both kW and MW scales.

Involved with both conceptual design and hands‑on prototyping, testing, assembly, or maintenance. You’ve seen how things break.

Higher education (MSc. or equivalent) in chemistry, physics, engineering or another related field.

Willing to work in Rotterdam full-time in-person.

Nice‑to‑haves

Worked in startup environments scaling up electrolyzer technology.
