Job Overview
The Hardware and Software System Validation Engineering team works on integrating hardware, SOC, software, firmware, and protocol stacks of embedded communication systems to ensure components function correctly and meet requirements.
Responsibilities
Define validation criteria, plans, and strategies for system and component integration.
Integrate hardware and software components and execute functional, regression, and performance testing.
Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and hardware lab test setups.
Troubleshoot and debug hardware and software issues in collaboration with HW, SO, Silicon Validation, Application Engineering, and Systems teams.
Work closely with hardware, software, systems, algorithms, and application teams to ensure successful integration and validation.
Support product development from concept to final release.
Requirements
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
Several years of experience in hardware/software testing, integration, and validation. Senior/Lead roles require 10+ years, mid-level requires 4‑6 years.
Strong understanding of embedded systems, hardware and low‑level software.
Proficiency in C/C++ and experience with scripting languages (Python) for test automation and data analysis.
Knowledge of communication protocols and wireless: GNSS, BLE, IoT, LoRa, Ethernet, SPI, UART, I2C, LVDS, RF components (ADC, DAC, PLL, Filters, LNA).
Experience with testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal analyzers.
Proven unit, functional, and regression testing methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
