Operations Manager
This ASIC Project Manager role offers the opportunity to lead complex semiconductor programmes within a growing deep-tech business. You’ll sit at the centre of SoC development, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring projects move from specification through to silicon in a structured and controlled way. It’s a technically grounded role with real ownership, suited to someone who understands chip development in detail and can guide delivery in a fast-paced environment.
Our client is a scaling semiconductor company developing advanced connectivity solutions. As their product roadmap expands, they are looking for someone who can bring clarity, structure and strong execution across increasingly complex ASIC programmes.
As the ASIC Project Manager
, you’ll take ownership of planning, coordination and delivery across the full IC development lifecycle, working closely with engineering, systems and external partners.
- Leading SoC/ASIC development projects from specification through to silicon.
- Coordinating cross-functional teams across RTL, DV, physical design, DFT and validation.
- Managing project plans, milestones, risks and dependencies.
- Driving engineering reviews, change control and key decision-making processes.
- Tracking progress and ensuring alignment across distributed teams and stakeholders.
- Working with external partners and third‑party service providers.
- 10+ years’ experience in ASIC or SoC development environments.
- 5+ years leading cross‑functional semiconductor project teams.
- Strong understanding of full chip development lifecycle and design flows.
- Experience across bring‑up, power‑on and silicon validation phases.
- Structured, organised approach with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in fast‑paced or scale‑up environments.
