Job Description & How to Apply Below
Do you care about the safety of mobile devices? Do you want to contribute to a more secure future for payment systems? Would you like to develop the world’s most advanced security test tools? If so, we have the opportunity for you.
We are a young and ambitious organization specializing in security testing for leading international clients from industries such as semiconductors, payment, automotive, and mobile. We are Riscure and in 2024, we became part of Keysight Technologies, an American corporation that enables innovation that connects and secures the world. We are the leading vendor of specialist security testing products, with 150+ employees of mixed technical and academic backgrounds working on device security from offices in Delft, the Netherlands.
Keysight is at the forefront of technology innovation, delivering breakthroughs and trusted insights in electronic design, simulation, prototyping, test, manufacturing, and optimization. Our ~15,000 employees create world‑class solutions in communications, 5G, automotive, energy, quantum, aerospace, defense, and semiconductor markets for customers in over 100 countries.
Our award‑winning culture embraces a bold vision of where technology can take us and a passion for tackling challenging problems with industry‑first solutions. We believe that when people feel a sense of belonging, they can be more creative, innovative, and thrive at all points in their careers.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our international family of 25+ nationalities. You will work on new and existing software products used to test and validate the security of chips used in a wide variety of products. Our market‑leading tools enable security experts and developers to find vulnerabilities in secure products by using a variety of hardware and software test techniques, combined with data analysis and visual representation of test results.
For our device security evaluation software, we rely on efficient algorithms, complex analysis of large data sets, and reliable software‑hardware interaction.
As a Senior Test Automation Engineer , you are part of a growing, cross‑functional development team based in the Netherlands. Your primary responsibility is to develop and maintain the build, test, and compliance assurance facilities for Keysight Riscure’s software products. To advance Quality Assurance, we are investing in tooling that enables us to release software with more features, more often, and more reliably.
Your goal is to enable our customers to upgrade with confidence to the latest release of Inspector software by expanding our current test facilities (hardware and software) and integrating them into our CI/CD pipeline. You will create a technical roadmap for this pipeline and spearhead its implementation, gradually enabling the team to contribute. Together with developers and the product owner, you develop tools that enable analysts and engineers worldwide to make their products more secure.
Responsibilities
Work in short cycles on experiments, transforming ideas into prototypes according to Lean development principles.
Collaborate with two teams, 9 developers in total, to achieve end‑to‑end responsibility, actively reducing the effort required for the next release by improving and expanding build, test, and compliance verification pipelines, while contributing to manual testing.
Coordinate with colleagues from the Security Lab and the Customer Experience Team to obtain equipment and test targets, establishing benchmarks for automated tests.
Configure, maintain, and improve tools such as JIRA, Bitbucket, Cloud Bees, Artifactory, Intelli
J, Maven, Jacoco, Ranorex, and Black Duck to support the software development process.
Allocate time and space for innovative ideas, encouraging entrepreneurial spirit and use of AI to improve workflows.
Qualifications
Hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
Solid experience setting up automated testing systems and build pipelines, with a proven track record of AI‑enhanced quality control workflows.
Experience completing a compliance assurance project for a software product with minimal external assistance.
Comfortable working with hardware.
Affinity for hardware and software security and/or cryptography, and a passion for growing in these fields.
Keysight is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
