Profile Senior Installation Engineer
Do you have experience guiding critical umbilical installations from engineering through offshore execution? Can you translate complex deepwater installation challenges into safe and executable offshore solutions?

We are looking for a Deepwater Umbilical Installation Engineer to develop installation procedures, perform engineering analyses, and support offshore execution for complex deepwater umbilical installation projects.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Prepare installation analyses, calculations, and procedures for load-out, trans-spooling, and deepwater umbilical installation activities.

Act as the technical specialist for multi-tube umbilicals, Vertical Lay Systems (VLS), and vertical connector systems.

Perform and review Orca Flex modelling and translate results into safe and practical offshore installation methods.

Support installation equipment processes, including carousels, loading towers, routing systems, and deflectors.

Define and optimise deck layouts for offshore installation activities.

Contribute to testing activities and support offshore execution as Field Engineer or Construction Supervisor when required.

Share lessons learned and technical best practices with engineering and project teams.

Act as a client-facing technical SME, supporting presentation and technical alignment meetings.

Requirements Senior Installation Engineer

At least 5 years of experience in deepwater installation engineering for multi-tube umbilicals.

Proven experience with Vertical Lay Systems (VLS) and offshore installation methodologies.

Strong expertise in Orca Flex modelling and installation analysis.

Solid understanding of umbilical installation equipment, procedures, and offshore operations.

Offshore experience and willingness to support offshore campaigns internationally.

Ability to operate as a trusted technical authority and client-facing SME.

Strong communication skills with a practical and solution-oriented mindset.
