Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: Senior GNSS Software Architect / Principal GNSS Engineer
Job Description

Define and own the end-to-end GNSS receiver software architecture, including acquisition, tracking, measurement engine, navigation, and positioning stack.

Lead architectural decisions for low-power, high-performance GNSS chipsets, balancing performance, power, and silicon constraints.

Translate product requirements into scalable, modular, and maintainable software architectures.

Drive design trade-offs across algorithm complexity, hardware acceleration, and system constraints.

Design and optimize advanced algorithms for GNSS acquisition and tracking (multi-constellation, multi-frequency), positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT), multipath mitigation and interference suppression, snapshot and ultra‑low‑power GNSS techniques.

Lead development of next‑generation techniques such as assisted GNSS (A‑GNSS), hybrid positioning (GNSS + Wi‑Fi/Bluetooth/IMU), LEO‑PNT and emerging navigation paradigms.

Oversee implementation of GNSS algorithms in embedded C on RTOS / bare‑metal systems, FPGA with focus on performance optimization, high‑volume silicon deployment.

Mentor and guide engineers and contractors in GNSS algorithms and embedded development. Set technical direction and promote engineering best practices, design standards and lead technical reviews, architecture discussions, and decision‑making processes.

Cross‑functional collaboration with product management to shape feature roadmap and differentiation strategy. Present technical concepts and results to internal and external stakeholders, including leadership teams and customers.

Job Requirements
The company is looking for a result‑driven and conscientious GNSS Engineer. The ideal candidate must have:

Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Signal Processing, or related field.

10+ years of experience in GNSS, wireless communication systems, or signal processing.

Proven track record in GNSS system design and product development.

Deep understanding of the GNSS signal processing chain, including acquisition, tracking, measurements, and navigation.

Strong expertise in embedded C/C++ development on RTOS or bare‑metal platforms.

Experience with MATLAB and Python for modeling and algorithm development.

Experience with full chip/product lifecycle, from concept to production.

Strong understanding of low‑power embedded system design and optimization.

Excellent communication, presentation, and technical leadership skills.

Nice to Have

Experience in GNSS software architecture ownership for commercial products.

Knowledge of multi‑constellation and multi‑frequency GNSS systems (GPS, Galileo, Bei Dou, GLONASS).

Experience with RF front‑end integration, calibration, and lab validation setups.

Familiarity with FPGA prototyping and ASIC design flows.

Knowledge of SDR (Software Defined Radio) systems.

Experience with wireless technologies (Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, IoT positioning).

Experience with sensor fusion and hybrid positioning systems.

Knowledge of LEO‑PNT, GNSS‑R, or emerging navigation technologies.

High precision positioning expertise.

Demonstrated experience in leading teams or mentoring engineers.
