Electrical Engineering, Automation & Mechatronics Engineer, Systems Engineer
Job Description & How to Apply Below
Across these projects, E&I Engineers analyse both power and automation requirements and are responsible for designing and implementing suitable hardware solutions. They ensure that all sub-systems are properly specified, designed, and built, and that these integrate seamlessly into one overall system. In addition, E&I Engineers play an active role during installation and commissioning, which may involve visits to our vessels worldwide.
As an experienced E&I Engineer, you will likely act as the E&I focal point for one or more projects. In this role, you will gather and translate both technical and non-technical requirements into clear work packages for internal E&I engineers, designers, and draftsmen, or for external contractors.
What we expect from you
You have a BSc or MSc degree in Electrical Engineering;
You have a minimum of 7 years’ work experience as Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer or similar;
You have proven knowledge of the Lloyds and/or DNV Rules and Regulations for the Classification of Ships;
You have affinity with technology in general;
You have the soft skills to take the lead in your own (sub-)projects;
You have hands‑on practical electrical troubleshooting experience;
You have experience with Siemens and/or Kongsberg Automation hardware.
You will join a team‑minded and energetic department with committed professional colleagues. You will work in a dynamic, world‑leading offshore company, with short communication lines. To be successful in this role, you have a hands‑on mentality, are efficiency driven and thrive by working independently, accepting ownership of assigned responsibilities, as well as in a team.
What we offer
Joining Allseas gives you the chance to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment, with creative thinking, collaboration and down‑to‑earth culture at its core.
You can expect:
Competitive industry benchmarked salary and excellent pension;
Performance based salary raises and bonuses;
30 holidays days per year, flexible working hours;
Company-sponsored fitness scheme;
On‑the‑job training, study budgets and coaching;
A close‑knit community, BBQ’s, parties, (sportive) events and Friday afternoon drinks.
