Lead Electrical Engineer; MCF​/Data Centres

Overview

Haskoning is a global leader in the design and engineering of Mission Critical Facilities, focusing on data centre projects worldwide. We are looking for an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to join our Mission Critical Facilities (MCF) team.

• Design and deliver electrical systems for data centres, from LV distribution to HV substations, including redundancy and UPS architectures.
• Define design scope and prepare technical specifications, reports and tender documentation.
• Manage and coordinate electrical work packages across multiple projects.
• Support risk assessments, cost reviews and technical tender evaluations.
• Represent Haskoning during FAT, SAT and site testing and commissioning activities.

Additionally, contribute to improving internal processes and strengthening technical expertise within the MEP Community.

• Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 10 years of experience in electrical design for data centres or similar mission‑critical environments.
• Knowledge of standard industry practices, regulatory, contractual and execution frameworks.
• Strong understanding of clients’ operational requirements, ensuring continuity, reliability and long‑term performance.
• Excellent command of English;
  Dutch is preferable.

The role is based in Nijmegen, Netherlands. Travel may be required between EU offices and to client sites, both EU and overseas.

• Competitive base salary (€5,564 – €7,948, based on experience) with annual increases.
