Are you ready to play a key role in enabling clean energy for offshore vessels and energy-intensive industries?

Within our Nuclear Department we are developing a 25 MWe high-temperature gas-cooled Small Modular Reactor (SMR). This technology will provide clean, reliable power for large offshore vessels and decarbonise energy-intensive industries onshore. With long refuelling cycles and a compact design, this solution has the potential to be a true game changer for the maritime and industrial sectors.
Your role
As a Process Technology Engineer, you will be at the heart of this innovation. You will take ownership of the heat-to-power conversion cycle, ensuring robust, efficient and compliant system designs. You will work in a highly multidisciplinary environment, collaborating closely with mechanical, nuclear and R&D specialists, as well as external partners and subcontractors.
Key responsibilities
Design and develop the conventional heat-to-power cycle
Perform system analysis and optimise performance of the conversion process
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards and requirements
Align your work with other engineering disciplines and integrate feedback
Collaborate with and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers
What we expect from you
Minimum of 4 years of relevant working experience as process technology engineer
BSc/MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering or alike
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Pro‑active and pragmatic attitude
Good command of the English language, both written and spoken, with strong communication and collaboration skills
