Senior Communications Systems Engineer - PHY ​/ DSP Algorithms

A Senior Communications Systems Engineer – PHY Layer DSP is sought by this leader in emerging wireless / IoT communications. Based at their R+D Centre in Delft the Senior Communications Systems Engineer – PHY Layer DSP will be responsible for the design and development of next generation advanced communication systems at PHY layer focusing on bandwidth, latency and power efficiency.

The Senior Communications Systems Engineer – PHY Layer DSP will also be responsible for developing innovative DSP algorithms to address systems level problems and for analysing emerging standard requirements (BLE, LTE LoRa, WiFi etc.).
You will be an experienced Senior Communications Systems Engineer with a deep knowledge of DSP algorithm development, PHY layer components (modulation / demodulation, filtering, channel estimation etc.) and strong Matlab /C++ programming skills. You will have a solid track record of working at PHY / MAC layer relating to some of the following: BLE, NB-IoT, LTE, WiFi, LoRa, IEEE 802.11 preferably coupled with some exposure to working with RTL and fixed-point calculations.

Any knowledge of FPGA / ASIC implementation in a communication systems environment would be a plus.
