Senior System Engineer

The Position

As part of our growing team, we are looking for an experienced  Senior Systems Engineer  to join us and contribute to exciting, high-impact client projects in advanced optical systems and multidisciplinary high-tech environments.

As a Senior Systems Engineer, your main tasks will include:

Leading the development and realization of complex optical and high-tech systems

Defining, managing, and validating system requirements throughout the project lifecycle

Acting as the technical lead and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams

Taking ownership of technical project deliverables and successful system integration

Identifying, assessing, and mitigating technical risks

Driving verification, validation, and systems engineering activities

Contributing to technology roadmaps and future innovation initiatives

Supporting business development activities by identifying new technical opportunities

Your Profile

Master’s degree (WO) in Applied Physics, Engineering, Optics, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline

10+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer in complex multidisciplinary environments

Strong knowledge of systems engineering methodologies and lifecycle management

Experience with requirements management, risk management, verification, and validation processes

Proven ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams of technical experts

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset

Experience with in optics, photonics, aerospace, semiconductor, scientific instrumentation, or other high-tech industries is a strong advantage

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Proactive attitude with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement

Fluent in English (spoken and written)
