Senior Digital Silicon Validation Engineer - SoC Validation / Semiconductors   We are partnered with a pioneering semiconductor scale-up revolutionising connectivity through advanced Digital RF and ultra-low power GNSS technology. The team is looking to hire a Senior Digital Validation Engineer.
This is a permanent position based onsite in Delft.
Key responsibilities for this Senior Digital Silicon Validation Engineer position:
Define digital test requirements and validation plans in close collaboration with design, firmware, and software teams.
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate digital functionalities from component level through to full system operation.
Create Python/C scripts to automate tests and collect measurements using automated test setups.
Debug and troubleshoot hardware, firmware, and digital interface issues, implementing solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Collect, organise, and analyse data to verify performance across varying conditions and samples.
Document test procedures, validation results, and specifications for internal reference and compliance.

Key requirements:

Strong knowledge of digital circuits, MCU architecture, and digital interfaces with experience in low-power IoT systems.
Hands‑on experience with bus protocols (AHB, APB) and peripheral interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART).
Working knowledge of FPGA systems for pre-silicon debugging, particularly Zynq processors.
Proficiency in Python for automation and data analysis; familiarity with Git, Excel, and database tools.

Experience with lab equipment — oscilloscopes, logic analysers, signal generators, and programmable power supplies.
