Overview
As a Dev Ops consultant, you help leading customers with their challenges in the field of Dev Ops. Think of coaching teams with the use of new tools, but certainly also of technically, strategically and organizationally advising management on how to set up their software delivery. You assess, advise, implement and take teams and the rest of the organization along with the solution.
In addition to consultancy, many of our experts also regularly provide training and workshops, about one to two times a month. Besides this, they share their knowledge through blogs, whitepapers, webinars and by speaking Friday from 13:00 – 17:00 you work with the rest of your Dev On colleagues on the development of both the company and yourself. As part of the team, you also determine the direction of Dev On and you have input in all facets of the company.
Of course, we close with a drink and very regularly with a celebration moment! Within Dev On you get the chance to realize your ambition, in any direction. - Use technology accelerators to bring software development to the next level
- Work with management to help them align their strategic goals to Dev Ops initiatives
- Help teams to mature their Dev Ops capabilities
- Help instill/Establish an engineering culture
- Instill organization wide Dev Ops knowledge via training, workshops and coaching
- Enable Ops departments/teams to adopt modern infrastructure practices such as IaC to build a Future Proof Infrastructure
Minimum requirements:
More than three years of relevant work experience with Dev Ops.
- You have extensive experience with Dev Ops, as a consultant or internally within the company you work for.
- You are well familiar with the principles and practices and know how you can take the rest of the organization along with the implementation and convince them of the advantages.
- You keep up with the rapid developments that take place by visiting events, reading about it and of course talking about it.
- You are result-oriented and entrepreneurial, but above all, you have a passion for building great software and enabling others to do this. You know how to explain technical issues clearly, even to non-IT people.
- Are passionate about building high performance organizations.
- Have development and or Operations engineering experience.
- Have a passion for helping people unlock their true potential.
- Live and breathe modern technology.
- Have tried automating yourself away at many places.
- Have experience how modern engineering practices accelerate businesses.
- Are not afraid to challenge the status quo.
