- Hold a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a closely related field. Candidates with interdisciplinary backgrounds are very welcome.
- Show creativity and enthusiasm to push beyond the current state of the art. A strong publication record from your PhD is valued, and we also appreciate diverse forms of research contributions.
- Bring relevant expertise to pursue the proposed research topic. We value new perspectives, also if your previous experience is in a different but related field.
- Be motivated to publish high‑quality scientific results and contribute to the advancement of the research community.
- Be interested in working in an international research environment and enjoy mentoring BSc, MSc, and PhD students in their academic and professional development.

- Duration of contract is 2 years; temporary external finance.
- A job of 38 hours per week.
- Salary and benefits are in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities.
