The successful candidate will conduct research within the EU‑funded E2

Packman project on advanced electronic packaging. The position is located in Delft, as part of the ECTM team, collaborating closely with Dutch and EU industrial partners.

• Conduct research on advanced electronic packaging within the E2
  
  Packman project.

• Strong research background in electronic packaging, heterogeneous integration, thermal management, reliability, multi‑physics and multiscale simulation.
• Demonstrated publication record in high‑quality international journals and conferences.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary and international research environments.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and scientific writing skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to collaborative research teams.
• Track record of supervising MSc and PhD students and participation in teaching activities.
• Good command of spoken and written English.

• Duration of contract is 2 years (temporary).
• Job of 38‑40 hours per week.
• Salary and benefits are in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities.
