Our customer is looking for a Senior Validation Engineer to join our team and contribute to shaping the future of connectivity.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Silicon Validation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the functionality and performance of our System-on-Chip (SoC) solutions that integrate digital, analog, and RF components. This is a hands‑on role that requires expertise in debugging, analyzing, and characterizing SoCs through automated test setups.
- Collaborating with design, firmware, and software teams to define digital test requirements and validation plans
- Developing and executing comprehensive test plans to validate digital functionalities
- Managing SoC-level validation and bring‑up, from component‑level tests to full system operation
- Creating Python/C scripts to automate tests and collect measurements using digital test equipment
- Collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to verify performance across various conditions and samples
- Utilizing tools like Python for scripting and data handling to automate processes and enhance analysis
- Debugging and troubleshooting hardware, firmware, and digital interface issues, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to implement solutions
- Documenting test procedures, validation results, and specifications for internal reference and compliance
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of digital circuits, including memory, MCU architecture, and digital interfaces, with experience in low‑power IoT systems
- Hands‑on experience with bus protocols (AHB, APB) and peripheral interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART)
- Working knowledge of FPGA systems for pre‑silicon debugging, particularly Zynq processors
- Proficiency in firmware debugging and real‑time troubleshooting using debugging tools and creating mini‑firmware to test hardware
- Experience with automated test setups and conducting concurrent lab tests on multiple products
- Hands‑on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, digital multimeters, signal generators, and programmable power supplies
- Proficiency in Python programming for automation and data analysis; familiarity with tools like Excel, database management, and version control software (e.g., Git)
- Knowledge of GNSS technologies for precise location‑based IoT applications
- Experience in Power, Voltage, and Temperature (PVT) characterization and expertise in analog hardware testing
