Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant based in Delhi, India. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing budgets, handling accounts payable and receivable, payroll management, and ensuring compliance with accounting and tax regulations. They will work closely with administrative staff to oversee financial transactions, generate reports, and support the financial management of the school.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in financial accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Strong skills in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll management
- Knowledge of accounting software and tools, as well as experience with Excel
- Understanding of taxation and compliance with regulatory financial standards
- Organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines effectively
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Experience in educational institution accounting is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional accounting certification is a plus
