Job Overview
We are seeking a Res Man Property Accountant with hands-on experience in Res Man accounting software and a strong foundation in U.S. property management accounting. The role involves supporting U.S.
-based real estate operations, handling property-level accounting, and ensuring accurate financial reporting across multiple properties.
Key Responsibilities
Res Man & Property Accounting
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations using Res Man software
- Handle property-level accounting for multiple U.S. properties
- Ensure accuracy in high-volume transactional accounting
Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
- Record and reconcile Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Process vendor invoices, expense allocations, and payments
- Post tenant payments, rent collections, and late fees
Tenant & Lease Accounting
- Maintain tenant ledgers, security deposits, move-ins, and move-outs
- Manage rent rolls, lease records, and property financial data
- Resolve tenant billing and ledger discrepancies
Month-End & Financial Reporting
- Assist with monthly and year-end close activities
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Generate property-level financial statements including Income Statements and Balance Sheets
Audit & Compliance Support
- Maintain documentation for audits and internal reporting
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Coordinate with U.S.
-based accounting and property management teams
- Communicate financial updates and reports effectively
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in U.S. property management or real estate
- Mandatory hands-on experience with Res Man accounting software
- Understanding of rent rolls, leases, and property-level financials
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
