We are seeking motivated CA Inter-qualified or CA Drop candidates to join our US Tax & Accounting team. The role involves preparing US tax returns, handling accounting processes for US-based clients, and supporting compliance and reporting requirements. This position offers strong exposure to US taxation and accounting standards with excellent learning and growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
US Accounting
- Maintain books of accounts for US clients using accounting software such as Quick Books, Xero, or similar
- Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Assist with AR/AP, payroll accounting, and journal entries
US Taxation
- Prepare and assist in filing US Individual and Business Tax Returns (Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S)
- Work on state and federal tax compliance
- Assist in preparation of sales tax returns and payroll tax filings
- Support tax planning and compliance activities under US tax laws
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and IRS regulations
- Maintain proper documentation and work papers
- Coordinate with onshore US teams and clients for data collection
- Support year-end closing and audit-related activities
Eligibility & Qualifications
- CA Inter (Group I / Group II cleared) or CA Drop
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Accounting preferred
- 0–3 years of experience in US accounting or taxation (freshers with relevant training may apply)
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and taxation concepts
Required Skills
- Knowledge of US taxation basics and accounting principles
- Working knowledge of Quick Books, Xero, or other US accounting tools
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn and work in US process-driven environments
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience with US CPA firms or outsourcing firms
- Exposure to US payroll, sales tax, and IRS notices
- Familiarity with tools like Drake, Ultra Tax, Lacerte, or Pro Series
- Experience working in night or overlapping US shifts
