Sr Accounts Receivable Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sr Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team in Kochi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy across accounts, and maintaining financial integrity for multiple entities within the organization. This is a Work From Office (WFO) position.

Key Responsibilities

Enter all Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and Payroll transactions into the Striven Accounting System.

Process all payments and collections for AR & AP accurately and on time.

Reconcile and close accounting entries for each reporting period.

Perform expense audits and reconciliations across multiple entities.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and internal management to resolve discrepancies and maintain smooth financial operations.

Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting activities as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (Master’s or professional certification preferred).

4+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.

Hands-on experience with Striven or other ERP/accounting systems.

Strong understanding of AR/AP, GL, payroll accounting, and reconciliations.

Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Proficiency in MS Excel and general financial reporting tools.

Full-time, 5pm to 2am IST
