One of our Partner Firms is seeking an experienced Tax Senior Associate to prepare 1120, 1120-S, 1065 tax returns for its growing practice.
In this role, you will provide critical support to our U.S.
-based organization, contributing to tax compliance and the delivery of accurate and timely reporting. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a strong understanding of tax and accounting principles and U.S. GAAP compliance, who thrive in dynamic, collaborative environments focused on innovation, continuous improvement, and cross-border teamwork. This role requires a strong communicator who can work effectively with both clients and a U.S.
-based engagement team.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare federal and state tax returns, extensions, and quarterly tax projections for a variety of clients, including C-Corporations, S-Corporations, and Partnerships
Review tax information and coordinate with clients and internal staff while building strong professional relationships
Assist in coordinating the day activities related to tax planning, preparation, and delivery of final work products
Perform tax research, analyze findings, and resolve complex tax issues
Identify, communicate, and escalate tax matters to Managers and Partners as appropriate
Skills Required
Ability to build strong working relationships with clients to gather information and resolve issues effectively
Strong documentation skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies and proactively resolve problems
Ability to identify and communicate client and engagement issues, as well as status updates, in a timely and organized manner
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team to complete engagements accurately
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Approaches projects with a strong sense of urgency, ownership, and accountability
Highly motivated, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Outstanding analytical, organizational, and project management skills
Qualifications
3–5 years of tax preparation experience required
Bachelor’s degree required
Experience working in a mid-size public accounting firm preferred
Prior experience working for a U.S.
-based firm required
Advanced knowledge of federal and state tax laws, including corporate, individual, partnership, trust, and gift taxation
CA, CPA, or EA designation preferred
Experience with Pro System, CCH Axcess, and Autoflow is a plus
