KK & Co., Law Chambers is a professional legal organization based out of Delhi, India and handles regulatory litigation for Clients across the globe. The Chamber comprises of legal professionals and support staff with varied experience.

Role

Description:

This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Delhi, India. The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including invoicing, recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank accounts. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, tracking receivables and payables, handling payroll support, and assisting with tax calculations and statutory filings relevant to a law practice. The role also involves preparing periodic financial reports, supporting budgeting activities, and ensuring compliance with local accounting, taxation, and regulatory requirements.

The Accountant will collaborate closely with legal professionals and administrative staff to provide accurate financial data that supports decision-making and efficient office ma
nagement.

Qualifications:

Prior experience in a law firm or with a lawyer is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Quick Books, or similar) and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Experience with accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and invoice processing.
Understanding of Indian taxation, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance applicable to professional services firms.
Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to maintain organized financial records.
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with legal and administrative teams.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and handle confidential information with discretion.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA Inter, CMA Inter) are an advantage.
