We’re Hiring | Qualified CAs – Statutory Audit & Direct Tax  V Sankar Aiyar & Co.  is looking to strengthen its teams and invites applications from  qualified Chartered Accountants  for the following positions:
2 Positions – Statutory Audit The role involves statutory audits of companies across diverse sectors, with exposure to financial reporting, accounting and auditing matters.

Key responsibilities include:

Statutory audits of companies
Application of  Accounting Standards / Ind AS, Schedule III and Standards on Auditing
Review and analysis of financial statements
Identification and evaluation of accounting and audit issues
Preparation and review of audit documentation and deliverables
Interaction with client finance teams and senior management
Nature of work:  Primarily field-based, involving travel across  Delhi NCR and, where required, other locations across India .
We are open to applications from  freshly qualified CAs as well as candidates with relevant post-qualification experience .

2 Positions – Direct Tax | Compliance & Advisory The role involves a mix of income-tax compliance, advisory, tax audits and assessment-related matters.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparation and review of income-tax computations and returns
Assistance in tax audit assignments
Support in scrutiny assessments and appellate proceedings
Research on provisions of the Income-tax Act and recent judicial pronouncements
Analysis of financial statements from a direct-tax perspective
Providing advisory support on direct-tax matters
Nature of work:  Primarily  office-based / desk-oriented , with exposure to diverse direct-tax assignments.
We are looking for:
Freshly qualified CAs  with relevant tax exposure during articleship; or
CAs with  2–3 years of post-qualification experience  in direct-tax compliance and advisory
