Position: Ui/Ux designer Intern (Unpaid)
NextEdge1 specializes in helping students move from confusion to clarity by guiding them through hands on project development with a strong focus on practical execution and deep concept understanding.

We work with students across academic levels from early learners to final year students and aspiring innovators using a learning by building approach. We do not provide pre made solutions. Instead we mentor students to understand what they are building why they are building it and how to confidently explain their work during exams vivas and interviews.

This is a remote unpaid internship role for a Ui / Ux Designer Intern.

The Designer Intern will collaborate with the team to create visually appealing clear and user friendly designs for student focused projects. The role involves working on digital designs user interface mockups presentations and learning resources.

On a daily basis you will understand project requirements and design goals brainstorm and develop creative design concepts create graphics user interface prototypes and visual assets and ensure designs are clear consistent and student friendly.

This internship is focused on learning portfolio building and real project exposure.

• Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite Figma or similar software

• Basic experience or interest in user interface and user experience design and interface prototyping

• Strong creativity attention to detail and visual thinking skills

• Good communication and collaboration abilities

• Understanding of basic design principles

This is an unpaid internship intended for students or early career designers who want to gain real world experience build a strong portfolio work on meaningful educational projects and develop a builder oriented mindset.
