Role Description
The Associate Consultant will oversee transfusion medicine practices, including blood component preparation and compatibility testing.

Role & responsibilities

Blood donor recruitment and retention strategies
Decision-making on optimal preparation of components and prioritization of blood issues
Overall administration of  blood bank  including regulatory issues
Staff training and quality assurance
Immunohematology workups aiding in the diagnosis of HDFN, AIHA and Transfusion reactions
Planning and implementation of transfusion strategies for Thalassemia and hematological malignancies
Conducting plateletapheresis, convalescent plasma collection, Therapeutic plasma exchange, Red Cell Exchange, LDL Apheresis and Stem cell harvesting, granulocytapheresis, therapeutic thrombocytopheresis.

5-7 yr Experience
