About The Opportunity
A clinical role within the private healthcare & tertiary cardiology sector delivering comprehensive cardiovascular services to patients in Tiruvuru, Andhra Pradesh (on-site). We are hiring a hands-on Consultant Cardiologist to lead patient-facing clinical care, acute cardiac management and diagnostic interpretation across outpatient and inpatient settings.
Role & Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality outpatient clinics and inpatient care: evaluate, diagnose and manage acute and chronic cardiac conditions with evidence-based treatment plans.
Perform and interpret cardiac diagnostics including ECGs, transthoracic echocardiography, stress tests and Holter monitoring; escalate for advanced imaging when required.
Lead acute cardiac responses—manage ACS, arrhythmias, heart failure exacerbations and coordinate with emergency, ICU and cath-lab teams for timely interventions.
Develop and document clear management plans, discharge summaries and follow-up schedules; counsel patients and families on prognosis, medications and lifestyle modifications.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (cardiac surgery, anesthesia, nursing, physiotherapy) to ensure continuity and quality of care.
Contribute to departmental protocols, quality improvement, clinical audits and teaching activities to maintain clinical governance and service growth.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
Diploma in Cardiology or equivalent postgraduate diploma in cardiology.
Medical registration with the relevant State Medical Council / National Medical Commission (NMC).
Proven clinical experience managing cardiology patients in a hospital setting, including acute cardiac care.
ACLS certification.
Preferred
MD / DNB / DM in Cardiology or fellowship in cardiology.
Accreditation or formal training in echocardiography or advanced cardiac imaging.
