We’re hiring sharp, target-driven Face-to-Face Admission Counsellors to be deployed at partner universities/colleges. You will meet students in person, assess their profile and career goals, run admissions end-to-end (counselling → enrollment → payment collection → documentation), and consistently convert walk-ins into confirmed enrollments. This is a field role that requires professionalism, sales grit, and excellent people skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct face-to-face counselling for walk-ins and scheduled appointments at partner colleges/universities.
- Explain program options (online/on-campus), eligibility, fee structures and admission timelines clearly and honestly.
- Drive end-to-end admissions: application support, document collection, fee/payment collection and enrollment closure.
- Maintain accurate student records, counselling notes and follow-ups in CRM.
- Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets; report daily/weekly progress to the reporting manager.
- Coordinate with internal teams and university partners to ensure smooth admissions and payment processes.
- Represent Intellipaat at on-campus events, education fairs and outreach activities.
- Participate in campus visits and coordinate with alumni and placement when required.
- Ensure compliance with university policies and payment/receipting processes.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline.
- 1–5 years’ proven experience in face-to-face admission counselling or sales in Ed Tech
- Hands-on experience handling university admissions, application documentation and payment collection.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation and closing skills — comfortable converting B2C walk-ins.
- Student-centric approach and ability to build trust quickly in person.
- Target-driven, proactive, professional and comfortable with field travel and campus postings.
- Good communication skills (spoken & written).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, sales-oriented environment.
Admission Counsellor
- Deputed at larger partner colleges, responsible for a small counselling team, higher targets and local operations.
- Experience:
3–7 years preferred.
- Responsibilities include supervising counsellors, ensuring payment targets, local university liaison, reporting metrics and driving campus conversion strategies.
- Monthly admissions, conversion rate, collection targets and revenue contribution.
