Position Overview
DSWSC invites applications for the position of Principal. We are seeking a visionary, experienced, and committed education leader to head our institution and guide it toward becoming India’s leading institute and a national resource centre for Special Education.
Eligibility Criteria
- Postgraduate degree with
B.Ed / M.Ed in Special Education
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the field of Special Education
- At least 5 years of experience as Head of a similar institute
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and enhance learning outcomes for children with intellectual disabilities and associated conditions
- Strengthen, innovate, and continuously improve curriculum, pedagogy, and teaching practices
- Provide academic and institutional leadership to drive excellence, inclusion, and national relevance in Special Education
- Mentor and guide faculty, fostering a culture of collaboration, research, and professional growth
- Build strategic partnerships and position the institution as a national model for Special Education
